QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Massachusetts Certification as School Psychologist.

2. Minimum of three years experience with children with special needs.

3. Testing experience in school or clinical setting.

4. Demonstrated ability to work with children and adults (parents and staff) with tact, diplomacy, and empathy.

5. Demonstrated ability to speak and write with clarity.

7. Experience with expediting inclusion models preferred.

8. Experience in working with students with behavioral/emotional disorders preferred.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conducts psychological, cognitive, and educational testing on students referred for evaluation.

2. Interprets diagnostic testing to other evaluation team members, staff, parents, and administrators.

3. Provides the written psychological assessment and Individualized Educational Plan recommendations for referred pupils.

4. Conducts group workshops in appropriate areas in response to staff and community.

5. Works with designated students, individually or in groups as requested.
