QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Massachusetts certification in the fields French/Spanish/Latin.

2. Outstanding academic training in French/Spanish/Latin.

3. High school teaching experience desirable.
4. Fluency in the language(s) required due to oral approach.

5. Demonstrated ability to utilize a Socratic approach and to incorporate thinking skills in instruction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ability to work cooperatively with department members to develop curriculum.

2. Willingness to work with members of other departments in areas of student activities, interdisciplinary units.

3. Willingness to assist in the general areas of supervision.
