SEASONAL LABORER
Temp/Summer/Seasonal Employment
DEFINITION
Performs a variety of maintenance functions, which vary by division and may include mowing, raking, trimming, painting, delivering materials, watering, applying bark mulch, weeding, sweeping, trash removal, brush removal, washing vehicles and equipment, changing filters, and other general support functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be capable of continuous physical activity including lifting objects up to 60 pounds, climbing ladders, moving equipment and furnishings and mowing, raking, and shoveling materials.
Capable of performing a variety of grounds maintenance support functions including trimming, pruning, painting, mowing, cutting, general cleaning, mechanical and carpentry support functions, watering, raking, equipping operations, washing vehicles and equipment, and digging.
Must be familiar with basic hand and power tools including mechanical and carpentry tools, garden tools, power and hand: lawn mowers, blowers, sweepers, trimmers, saws and spreaders.
Must be capable of following detailed verbal and written instructions and be able to communicate orally in writing.
Must posses a valid class D or higher drivers license and be able to drive small trucks and or vans.
Performs other labor support functions as assigned and directed.
Salary: $11.00 per hour. Employment Length: as needed
